NIEAPA Is Looking Forward!

Once again, NIEAPA would like to offer a resounding thank you to all who attended our Virtual Strategic Planning Retreat in February. We did a lot of great work together in a short amount of time, and it has already helped to clarify where NIEAPA is headed, and how we can best get there! You can find a summary of the outcomes from the survey and retreat by clicking here.

The Planning Committee and Board are excited to start moving forward with the new initiatives we've outlined. But building new programs and community relationships doesn't happen overnight, and we can always use more volunteers to help push NIEAPA's mission forward. If you're interested in getting involved - on the Board, a Committee, or just offering an extra pair of hands for one of the items you noticed in the retreat summary above - please, reach out to us right away at nieapa@corpevent.com!

NIEAPA's Call for Presentations

Interested in speaking at one of our Chapter Meetings?  NIEAPA has issued a call for submissions of education presentations for the 2024 education calendar year.

Make your plans to submit your proposal to be a presenter in 2024 and contribute to the growing body of knowledge of our industry.

"NIEAPA members shall seek to develop an awareness of their own personal and cultural values and beliefs as one way of appreciating the importance of multicultural identities in our own lives and in the lives of those we serve.  NIEAPA members shall have and continue to develop specialized knowledge and understanding about the values, traditions and systems of all employees at the workplaces they serve."

RESOURCE DIRECTORY & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAMS

The Resource Directory is a central source of services that fall under the EAP umbrella and is a great tool for all.  We encourage you to use and share with your colleagues.

Please use the Resource Directory if you are looking for up to date information on treatment centers' recent changes, additions or reduction of services. The link also provides contact information for each center's outreach professional.

This list has been provided by the Chicagoland Professional Liaison Association, which is an organization for outreach professionals in the behavioral health field working in the Greater Chicagoland area. We thank the group for sharing this information with their NIEAPA colleagues.
